Wapiti Medical Staffing is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage in Mason City, Iowa.
POSITION/FACILITY DETAILS
- Locum tenens coverage needed for growing hospital cardiac surgery program
- Trauma Level II designation
- Practice setting is Hospital based. On rare occasions may need to oversee CRNAs at the ASC
- Documentation System/EMR: Cerner; some paper
- Number of Anesthesiologists in Practice: 6 currently
- Patient demographic: all ages
- Number of Operating Rooms: 8 in use at one time
ANESTHESTIOLOGIST REQUIREMENTS
- Iowa medical license highly preferred, but willing to accept providers needing state license. IMLC accepted
- Iowa DEA and CSR required
- Board certification preferred
- Must be TEE certified.
- Cardiac fellowship: Preferred, but extensive experience would be acceptable if TEE certified.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
