Excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Hospitalist in Northern IN just 2 hours from Chicago. Join this established team of 20 physicians who work closely with other hospital staff to provide the best possible care for their patients. General information: This team welcomes the challenge of complex cases, working in a co-managed ICU with intensivist coverage 24/7. All hospital admissions are assigned to the hospitalist service, where they collaborate with specialists to determine the best care path for each patient. Hospitalists do not perform procedures, but are adept in running codes and rapids, ensuring efficient patient care. 274 beds, and physicians cover day, swing, and night shifts. APP support at night alongside the nocturnist. The census is generally 14-16 patients per provider but can fluctuate from time to time. They rotate admissions and support each other as a team. Monthly team meetings and daily huddles promote regular communication and coordination within the group. Group is seeking a strong clinician with integrity to support the team they've built.
