Alabama Metro Anesthesiology Critical Care Opening opportunity in Birmingham, Alabama

City also has an International airport, with easy access to Atlanta, Huntsville (Home to NASA), Montgomery and the Gulf Coast/Mobile.Facility: This 400+ bed hospital is part of health system with numerous hospitals and clinics throughout the metro area.Opportunity: Critical Care Anesthesiology opening working 12-hour shifts 7on/7off. Work as an integrated team of providers in conjunction with providers from a local Pulm/CC group. Provide procedural expertise in airway management, line placement and CV monitoring. Expertise in ECMO desired. Work with 6 APPs to provide 24-hour coverage of 5 ICUs (55 beds) with two day-time Intensivists and 10 – 12 APPs. High acuity ICU with advanced Cardiac: Impella, IABP, ECMO, proning for ARDS, SLED, CRRT. Strong program in noninvasive ventilation, utilization of latest ventilator models.
