Pediatric Hospitalist opportunity in Statesville, North Carolina

Overview:

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an outstanding per diem Board Certified pediatric hospitalist to join our new practice at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville, North Carolina. Iredell Memorial is a 247-bed comprehensive healthcare facility with 600 to 800 annual births.

Responsibilities:

Physician Responsibilities:

• Primary management of patients in the pediatric unit
• Newborn Nursery coverage
• Consultation with families and referring physicians
• Call coverage
• Provide consults as needed in the Emergency Department
• Attendance at high-risk deliveries

Qualifications:

• NC license required
• Board Certification in Pediatrics with recent experience required
