Wapiti Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon PA for Boise, ID
Position Details
- Locum tenens
- Start date is in May. Assignment is 2 months long
- Shared hospital and ambulatory clinic duties with other PA' s, including night and weekend call
- Responsibilities include:
- First assisting in cardiac and thoracic surgery including endoscopic saphenous vein harvesting
- Managing post-operative care from intensive care unit until office follow up appointment
- Managing mechanical circulatory supports devices including, but not limited to intra aortic balloon pump, impella and ECMO
- Evaluating and dictating consults, history and physicals, and discharge summaries
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Must have credentials in a timely manner
- Idaho license or compact license
- COVID Vaccine
- NCCPA
