Gastroenterology - Locum Tenens - Georgia opportunity in Macon, Georgia

COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS GASTROENTEROLOGY (GI)

• Looking for GI that can offer one week a month (Monday-Friday) rounding on GI patients in the hospital and consults.  8-hour days. 

POSITION DETAILS GASTROENTEROLOGY (GI)

Job/Assignment Details:

• Will perform consults and ERCP procedures.
• Reason for Coverage: provide additional support for the one GI Hosp. they have on staff. 
• Setting: Inpatient 
• Start Date: Once privs are granted - on-going 
• Length of assignment & Minimum Shifts Required Per Month: at least 1 full week a month.  No weekends 
• Credentialing timeframe: 60 days 
• Shift dates: M-F July-on-going 
• Shift times: 8-hour days 8a-5p 
• Patients per day varies -requested specifics 
• Call: No call 

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• B&B GI-scopes along with ERCP (ERCP 1-5 procedures a week)
• Board certification required: BE within 5 years of residency.  
• Supervision required: No
• Background/Malpractice: No background, limited malpractice 
• Special Skills/Certifications required: ERCP 
• EMR: Cerner moving to EPIC this summer
